Oh boy, it's here - Christmas.
And I don't mean the time when we all come together and enjoy each others company. I mean the time when there is no end for cooking and eating. But actually it is great because it's what I love to do.
Yesterday my dear best friend from school came for a visit with his lovley girlfriend. So I made a very simple but a soul warming dinner. They loved it but they just adored the desert.

Here it is - my semolina fluffies with an almond and cinnamon crust and with a compote of plums from our garden, reduced with some port wine and a touch of tonka bean. So simple but abolutley delicious. A perfect winter comfort desert.
